"Syrie was by far the best money we spent in our wedding planning budget -- where to begin!! I never thought I would be the type of person to hire a "wedding planner," but early on in the process it became clear we would need help navigating all of the vendors and coordinating a 200 person wedding. Syrie is so much more than a "wedding planner." She is a queen, a boss, an icon; she knows literally everyone in Buffalo and makes s***t HAPPEN. She helped us run interference and get speedy answers from our vendors (who are often swamped dealing with many other clients and weddings every week), helped us to get special pricing on certain things we really wanted, and truly helped create the feel and vision for our wedding day. Her style is impeccable and she knows how to deliver the most bang for your buck -- I especially appreciated she steered us away from things that would have been a waste of money and was so creative in allowing us to deliver the most impact without throwing money at every issue that was presented. Some of our coolest ideas we get no credit for, they were all Syrie! From being there to bounce my ideas off of at all hours of the day, to putting together the final details in the weeks, days, and hours leading up to our wedding, Syrie went above and beyond. I trusted that everything would be handled the day of the wedding and everything was a dream thanks to her. On the day of, she included lots of little surprises and special touches that made us so happy (hello, a delicious giant plate of all of the cocktail hour apps and food we missed while taking pictures she had waiting for us at our sweetheart table!). The day of was absolutely flawless thanks to Syrie! We, and our friends and families, were able to enjoy the day while she made everything go off without a hitch. We truly could not have done it without her and our day would not have been the perfect day it was without everything she did for us. I love that when I think back on my wedding day, I am filled with happiness thinking of how perfect the day was and how there were no nightmare issues you often hear of at weddings, thanks to Syrie! Hire Syrie and don't look back, you will be SO happy you did! THANK YOU SYRIE!!”

"THANK GOD FOR SYRIE!!!! Honestly, I would give her 10 out of 5 stars if I could! At the beginning of our wedding process, I was feeling pretty good about not having a planner involved because I had a firm grasp on our design/theme/most little details. But then vendors happened. I knew I was never going to be able to fully enjoy my day if I was stressed about making sure things went smoothly or even get done the way I envisioned. My photographer, who fully understood my extreme Type-A-ness, said I needed to speak to Syrie because we would get along perfectly. And we did! It took a bit of convincing to get my dad on board with the idea, but he ended up being the one who said "Thank God for Syrie!" the most! (He realized that the day of the wedding he would have been the one trying to get all the vendors in line and organized instead of living in the moment.) Syrie was able to customize a package for us, which was amazing, and was available at all times if I had a question or a minor freak out. Turns out, I really did need someone to tell me the day before the wedding to "Stop crafting, you're done." My husband was a little worried that the day of the wedding I would finally crack under the pressure of stress and anxiety of making sure our year of hard work came together perfectly, but he was shocked how calm and collected I was all day. And that was because of Syrie. If something happened with a vendor that day, I still don't know about it. All I know is that walking into the reception place was like walking into a dream. It was perfection. Even better than I ever could have imagined. With so many working parts of a wedding, something always goes wrong/doesn't pan out, but our day was absolutely perfect. Just being able to relax all day and trust that everything was taken care of made it all worth it. I tell anyone and everyone about Syrie and Social Maven. Plus she took the CUTEST pictures at our photo booth, I'd share them if I could! Get you a wedding planner who can not only coordinate a perfect day, but who can also fully enjoy the day with you as a friend.”
